Frankenlaib - Frankonian Farmer’s Bread
These large 750g/1.5 lb round loaves take 5 days to make, and are 100% rye. The sourdough adds incredible flavor, and the almost finger thick crust would make any Bavarian baker proud.? (FYI– Frankonia is in the north of Bavaria – my Mom is from that region!)
